Dhanlaxmi Towers Private Limited is a comparatively young venture of the Periwall Group and is involved in the production of PCC Poles since March 2015. Our plant is situated in Aragaro village in Koderma district of Jharkhand.
To compete in the current Indian market, our plant is equipped with the very latest standardized machinery and a group of highly technically efficient manpower.
The plant enjoys a high supply capacity and there is ample space for storing the finished products inside the factory premises. Our plant has 24-hour water and electric supply and consists of an office and administration building within its premises. The machinery and equipment are checked and maintained regularly.
Our Products
We offer a wide variety of poles viz. 8m, 8.5m, 9m and 11m – ranging in weight from 140 kg to 400 kg – which can be further customized to suit specific needs of our esteemed clients. Other requirements viz. internal grounding, pole steps and cages, floodlight attachments etc. are also taken care of on special request.
USAGE:
Prestressed concrete is a method for overcoming concrete’s natural weakness in tension. These reinforced concrete poles are used as line supports in overhead power distribution & power transmission lines as well as in power substations and traffic signals.
They have greater mechanical strength, consistent material properties throughout their length and are not susceptible to rot and decay thereby providing longer life span than conventional steel poles. Moreover, they are cheaper, require very less maintenance and have good insulating properties.
Manufacturing Process
- PCC Poles are essentially made of concrete. The key raw materials include Cement, High Tensile Wire, Galvanized Iron Wire and Stone Aggregate.
- At first, the cement is cast into pre-designed moulds of variable dimensions as per the project specifications of the client.
- Then, high tensile wires are inserted into the moulds and stretched to reach an optimum tension.
- This is followed by fixing of the galvanized wires inside the mould for earthing after which a right proportion of concrete mixture is poured.
- Finally, the concrete is compacted through vibration to produce high tensile poles.
- After about 3 days, the tension is released and the poles are de-moulded.
- The poles are then put under water sprinkler systems for about a month.
